Factory ones do that if they are old and worn out or if the
regulator needs to be lubricated. A new OEM type motor with a lubricated
regulator will not go up slow. I replaced the motors in my Olds and the
difference was incredible.

Same speed up or down and had them on
all four windows. Added one touch express up/down to the fronts and
remote control to the fronts as well.

is right on this, a one inch shaft with more splines will be stronger than one

It will fit but you are looking at very LOW compression, you could probably
get some +400 rods, rebalance and be good to go.
Taller blocks are usually the way to go to keep the piston pin out of the
ring lands in a long rod stroker.

Thanks guys. I called Scat yesterday and this is what I found out...
I can use a standard 454 crank and pistons but I would need to get longer
rods, custom headers, intake spacers, longer pushrods, and a different
distributor. The tech guy at Scat also said a tall deck can get expensive

Kids are grown and gone and no dogs. :*)
For others that might be a concern but not for me. Controls to all windows
were located on the front console facing forward no controls on any
individual window.

I'll keep my eyes out for a 454 block for you. One ton pickups used a lot of
four bolt blocks. If it were me,I wouldn't care one bit whether it was a two
bolt or four bolt block as a two bolt can easily handle over 750hp w/o
problems. A Mark IV block would be preferable over a Mark V or VI also as
Reminds me of a funny story--I was working on a car that had an
aftermarket alarm system on it. Part of the system automatically
closed the electric windows when the key was turned off. I had the
car running to check something, I leaned in the door turned

Thanks for the help! I replaced the cylinder lock today and it was an easy job. Picture and instructions helped.
Problem is I still cannot turn the key cylinder to the lock position and remove the key. I have adjusted the rod on the steering column that connects to the transmission

Replaced the cylinder lock today and it did not solve the problem. Cannot turn the key to the lock position so that it can be removed. I have adjusted the rod from the steering column to the transmission and this did not help.
Any thoughts on how to fix the problem? Need to
