Clint,
Thanks for your reply. I did notice that the header
flange practically rests on the heads of the short row of head bolts. All the
header bolt holes line up just fine though. Do you remember how close to the
firewall the headers got on the passenger side?

Like I said before,Larry,I don't remember any
clearance issues. I do remember how well those headers allowed me to tuck in the
3" exhaust system under the car.

Hi guys
I FINALLY was able to get a carrier this
weekend. I have two questions
1) I will be getting a used set
of 4:11 gears for a 12 bolt. It also includes a spacer so you can
runthem on a 3 series carrier.
2) Does anybody have any parts (bearing caps,
shims, etc) for a 12 bolt 3
Two things I would try to avoid,Ryan; used ring
pinions and ring gear spacers. You can buy new, correct gearsets for around
$125-150.
Used RP's tend to howl if they are re-used on
a different carrier. Hard tofind the established gear pattern it had
before.
Hate to be a wet blanket but I've
Sorry Clint,
I was actually asking if anyone would be interested
in the ring and pinion (4:11).
After re-reading my email I didnt write it as a
question. Sorry.
I bought a 3 series carrier and it has a set of
4:11's with a spacer. I was planning on running 3:73's so I wouldnt be
needing
Oops! Sorry,Ryan.

Id like to know who makes 4.11
gears for a Chevelle rear end. Seen 4.10 from GM, but who makes a 4.11?

Hi all. I have a question. My lights dim and full by the
rpm of the engine. At idol my cam lopes and the lights dim and bright to
match the rpm. Is that a voltage regulator?
Thanks,

I'm about finished putting together my big block. I
chose the Edelbrock Performer RPM Air Gap intake for my engine. I was looking
over the instructions and it mentions possibly having to trim some material off
the intake manifold in order to use the stock throttle brackets/hardware... I
THANKS I HAVE TRIED THEM, YEAR ONE, GROUND UP AND SEVERAL OTHERS, NO LUCK.
I AM SURE THERE IS SOMEONE OUT THERE THAT MAKE THESE.
