Hi everybody! I'm back and for the most part settled in to the new home
(btw - a 3 car garage is nice!). Tomorrow is my first day back at work at
the new unit. Hopefully everything goes smooth!

You may find me dead one day in a ditch. But by God,you'll find me in a
pile of brass.
Welcome back, dude. I'm gonna bet that 3 car garage gets filled up pretty
quick!!
Hope your move was smooth and uneventful.

That didn't take long, welcome back!
Dale
Thanks! All I can say so far is this place is VERY different from DC.
Everybody seems pretty nice and our neighborhood is nice, not quite what I
had in mind, but it'll do for the next three years.

Thanks, and the garage is already full and there's still another car I have
to get as soon as our townhouse sells! On top of that, my wife still has to
park her truck in the driveway, but that's ok, it's a Ford. :)

Welcome back Herb, it's like we've been missing a member of our Chevelle
family.

Hello,
Any of you guys running one of those nifty exhaust bypasses on your cars.
I'm thinking about putting electric ones on the car but I'm a little afraid to
spend sooo much money to GET an exhaust leak (if you know what I mean).
Summit has two types for sale:
Quick Time Performance2- 2
Here are links to both of their web sites. Both have videos.
QTP has a video of a foreign car blowing apart on the dyno. That always seems
to make me smile.

Enjoy,

I used a set of the Summit pipes with the caps (#SUM-670136). Only took a
few seconds to uncap them manually. I think the electric ones would be cool
for a few reasons not really associated with performance. Performance-wise
you still have the potential for a portion the exhaust to exit the
Hardest part I would think would be aligning the motor of the cutout so you
had room to install it without it hitting the floorboards or dragging the
ground. Of the two, I like the design of the DMH just for that reason, it
appears to have more adjustability in the orientation.
