ones. I have ones for 67 and 69 and both have the same parts book scanned
and cover years 64 through 72.
Problem with any GM parts book is numbers change,

I have decided not to anchor the posts to the floor so it does wiggle a
bit. I wouldn't want to be under the car in a *big* earthquake. But

Hey Chuck,
The dash pad just came off of my '70 two days ago as part of the
long-dreaded heater core replacement (which is now complete). I'll
check for you to see if the clock is accesible.
The clocks are easy to fix. I have never seen a reason to convert to quartz.

I have a 1970 Malibu and have been able to purchase an original clock that

The vibrator you are talking about was used in older radio's to convert DC
voltage into AC Voltage for the tube circuits to operate.
The new replacement for the old vibrator is a device call solid state and
they do not hum.

Honestly Dale, I think it came loose with the fasteners I used from
O'Reily's. I turned in reports to the El Campo Police, the Wharton Police,
the Dept of Public Safety and the DMV. Maybe someone will find it on the
road, but I have doubts. I traced my Path and have seen nothing.

With the clear danger of aging myself, I also recall that prior to the 60's
and 70's there was a "vibrator" in radios that was a mechanical relay type
device that converted the 6v DC to AC to run it through a transformer to
increase the voltage for some purposed in the radio. That went away with

Anybody have some left over after they changed

Limited-slip 80-90 gear oil in non-posi rear?
Will it hurt to use in a non-posi 10 bolt?
I have a lot for the 66 Elky & wanted to top off
the regular rear in the 64 Elky.
