Thanks Dan for the advice. I did go to Lowes a couple weeks ago on a friday evening. It was pretty cool. And I've gone over to the Wall mart on rt. 43 a couple times on saturday evenings. No shows yet Just cruize ins. Thanks again.Iam sure I'll be looking for more advice as this project unfolds.

Bob, The fitting above the oil filter is for your sending unit and the wire is blue. As for testing the gages, I can't be much help. It took me 4 tries, pulling the dash each time to get everything working in mine. One suggestion I can make is to place a box on the floor on the passenger side,

Yes I know, but i was merely stating what weird problems can be associated with newer cars and their electrical systems, most of your other replys did not relate as well, did you prefer the ghostbusters one better?, also the seat belt not being retracted all the way in somehow drained the battery--
