Rick Have you ever tried the do it yourself anodizing kits? It is it possible to do a grill? I don't mind spending the time polishing them, I just want them to look good when finished. My chrome moldings are pitted so all the polish in the world won't save them so I will need to have them re-plate

Do you mean the air vents that go in the panels by your feet? If so, as long as they operate by the cable to open and close and fit in the opening and go in with the three screws, you should be fine. You won't see the middle when it is installed. On Mon, May 2, 2011 at 3:56 PM, Rick Schaefer wrot

Chum Try polishing them with 000 Steel Wool and then with some metal brite. 000 Steel Wool works great on stainless, chrome and glass. Jerry Wells -Original Message- From: Chum Nault To: 'The Chevelle Mailing List' Sent: Mon, May 2, 2011 12:05 pm Subject: Re: [Chevelle-list]

I bought side air deflectors for my 1970 chevelle. The old holders were halves that were glued together with strips plastic on each side glued on to hold them together. Do I cut those off then then try to glue it together as best as I can like the old ones?  Any tips?  Thanks
