[Chevelle-list] Correct Air Cleaner

Can anybody tell me what the correct air cleaner for a 1971 Chevelle SS with a big block engine.  The car does not have cowl induction, but it does have a domed hood.  Do you use an open element or a snorkel air cleaner?  I am just trying to help a friend who is resroring a 71 Chevelle.  Thanks  D

Hello, I have been a member of this list but have never posted before, but now I must.  I cannot remove the lock cylinder from the steerig column.  I have done everything that the book say to do including thr removal of the thin casting material that should allow me to push in on the spring latc
