I know someone who is selling a 66 chevelle that does not have a VIN plate, tag plate or title. He swears up and down that it is an original SS 4 speed. It does have the gages, the 12 bolt, all the emblems and big block springs and pedals. How do I know for sure that's its a true SS and not a clone

Hi Dan, Put your key in the ignition and turn to the left. Get a paper clip or something small enough to fit in the little hole on the switch. While you are pushing the paper clip in try to wiggle the key out, the cylinder should pop out. AL
