I've got a 1972 BB in my Chevelle I'm told that there's
a smaller more powerful starter that would give me
extra space to the very hot headers that it's
not as sensitive to the heat!?
Whish starter are they talking about? which one will fit?
As it is now the starter sometimes gets very hot
The reason it wouldn't stop pumping was that
the small wheel that's activating the pump
wasn't fixed to the base plate as it should be.
It was wobbling around making it impossible for
the somewhat delicate mechanics to work properly.
I've sent it back!

Are they straight should they have a waist on a
1971 Chevelle ht?
I'm suspecting that I don't have the original rear
coils?

Is it the delay that's broken or do

When I waschanging the rear axle oil i
noticed that the old oil had
a "metallic luster" compared to the new oil, no
pieces or chunks though.
Is that normal or do I have a serious problem
here?

There's a little brass connection on top of the rear axel that
connects the two brake lines going to the wheels!
There's also a short brake hose connected to the same little brass
block! My question is:
Is it possible to remove replace that little brass connection from
all of the three above
Thanks for your input!
Any particular brand or shop you would
recommend on the stainless steel lines?
How can I avoid the new lines getting stuck
like that? (In case Iput innew original ones)
I'm going to try some of your tips
today!
