I saw the Bel Air at the NY Auto Show a week ago. I was not impressed. It
looks like a brick on wheels. Chevy would do better to make a modern
interpretation of a 66-70 Chevelle a'la the new GTO.

I must say I dont like the car either. Its like Chevrolet is trying to do what Ford did with the ThunderBird. Great idea, but there just isnt enough of a smiliarity in body design to say a new BelAir. The headlights and tailights resemble the 55-57 BelAir a bit, but as for the rest of the car, that
I'll withhold a judgement til i see it in person. I like
some of the shoebox styling cues, but overall it doesn't come together for
me. Hopefully it will appeal if I see it in person. I feel the same
way about the SSR. It has some appeal but I need to see it.

5 cylinder. Check it out. Nice car. But this should have a V8 like the GTO. I
wonder what this will cost. Bet it will be above sticker. And limited
production.
