i do know CT code in engines was was for replacement motors. sounds like this may be the case ?

I have heard of a CY transmission code for hi hp big blocks and a CX code for
the COPO 427 cars but not a CT.

Kent, I still can't find a CT trans code. This is
very strange. Do you have the original torque converter? On it will be 1 or
2 letters stamped on it. Give me those letters and I will be able to tell
you at least if it was a high performance. If you have the part # from the valve
