I did mine just a couple of weeks ago.
I hit on the bushing shell to get it out of
roundness/weaker.
then I hit it out with a hammer.

It depends on how tuff you want it to be. I did mine this spring. I took a
drill to the rubber and pushed out as much as I could. I next took a hack
saw to the metal. After I cut it through I took a hammer to it.
Taking them out is the easy part. I made a tool out of pipe end caps,

I drilled may 3/8 inch holes thru the rubber, until it was loose
enough to push center out. Then collapsed the metal shell with hammer &
chisel. Worked fine f

Just use a 1/4" drill bit and drill out the rubber around the center
bushing, when it is loose, just tap it out with a hammer and drift.

You may have to burn it out. Use a torch to light the rubber on fire and let
it melt away, then beat them out with a hammer. I actually beat mine out
