Update: I talked with PRC Aluminum radiator representative. He indicates the Team Chevelle guy is right, i.e., the Twin Spal fans will not fit on a 27 inch wide radiator. You need the 31 inch radiator. That will not fit on a Chevelle.

Then I ran into another problem. I have a 383 stoker engine on the 67 Chevelle with automatic trans. The auto trans lines run from the trans to the center of the bottom of the brass radiator. In contrast, the PRC radiator, which is a crossflow radiator, has the tanks on the side with the internal cooler outlets on the passenger side.

Question: Would I have to have new trans lines or can I use "cooler lines" from my current set up to the passenger side of the PRC radiator.

In short, it is getting more complicated. Maybe a Derale flex fan, shroud, and Spal pusher fan on the outside brass radiator is easier, cost effective, and less work.

Any comments appreciated.
