I spoke with a supervisor at Edelbrock about the vapor lock problem. Here is what was said. If the fuel line is location against the front of the block,like most stock engine, then this can be a problem. Steel fuel lines will cause more heat problems than braided lines. The braided line

When you state that the car would not start, I take it that the engine would turn over, but just not fire up?? I know people at Edelbrock and have emailed your problem to them. I will let you know the reply. Keith
