this "bolt" is indeed the shock bolt. Check with NPD, mail order company.

i just did my rear bushings and the flange stuck out from the diff. ear about 1/4".

gap, so it sounds like you have it correct. Also, I did notice that the
bushing flanges should be installed from the outside (each end) towards the

I am trying to install a new set of bushings in a 10 bolt rear end for a 68
chevelle malibu. The fit is quite tight but my question is how far do the
bushings go in? These bushings are from energy suspension, and have a raised
area about 3/8 inch wide next to the bushing flange. I hav
