Hello all,
I'm hung up. I've been
trying to find the stock left and right air conditioning vents for a 68
Chevelle. I've installed a Vintage Air system in this car, but want to
make it appear as stock as possible. I've seen Astro Vents for sale from a
couple of vendors that claim to fit certain Camaros, 66-67 Chevelles, and also
69 Chevelles. Does anyone know if I can modify these to look like they
belong in a 68 dash? I don't have any problem with minor tweaking,
grinding, painting, etc, but want it to look reasonable when I'm done. I
would think that if they fit the contour of a 69 dash that they would work for a
68 also. I know the passenger side should be identical. Any thoughts
or help? Thanks in advance.
