I am
new to the list and I have a question. I just had the right rear axle
"walk" out of the rear end on my car. Luckilyit didn't come all the
way out. I assume, from what I've read, that I may have broken a "c"
clip. Am I assuming right, and how difficult is this to repair? I

photos I have of two supposed survivors, snorkel with 454; dont have photos
of a 39/402 though. Cowl induction got the open style

Can anybody tell me what the correct air cleaner for a 1971 Chevelle SS with a big block engine. The car does not have cowl induction, but it does have a domed hood. Do you use an open element or a snorkel air cleaner? I am just trying to help a friend who is resroring a 71 Chevelle. Thanks Denny
