I thought so too until i saw the 90 degree fittings that they use in the 63-65 car

For now it's:
1)Find source for 68 Caddy filter.
2)Buy repro 'Vettte filter. (which may actually be pipe thread and not tube fitting)
3)Adapt late mod

Check out a Russell Pro Fuel Filter which I believe has 1/2 inch NPT threads. Use an adaper from 1/2 NPT to your choice of 5/16" or 3/8" inverted flare. My guess would be you are using 3/8.

Just wondering what people are running for fuel filters.
I'd like something that attaches using inverted flare fittings like the
factory would have done it.
Trying to avoid hoses, braided or otherwise.
Also, no $100 billet filters!
