Use some Bulldog Adhesion Promoter before you spray the plastic. It will
help the paint stick to the plastic.
We paint batteries on the lowriders all the time.

Devin, that was my post.. I ended up getting a plastic Optima cap off ebay.
Painted it black with semi gloss to match the fender wells. Did not paint
the battery. Not much help..Denny
