I
liked what I seen there too ...until I looked at the price tag. Talk about
sticker shock! Still, they apparently make a quality product and if
originality is important to you and money is not a major concern, then it might
be a good choice for you.
Originality is not a requirement for me, and money
could go for other things.
Several other companies make wiring harnesses that have
newer GM style original fuse boxes, good quality labeled wire, and GM
connectors. Some of them are popular in the street rod
world.
I just
bought a wiring harness from Haywire. 20 circuit original GM box, GM steering
column connector, floor dimmer switch ( gave me the choice ) and many other
common connectors. I am sure I'll have to do a few mods, but having an
electrical background it should be more fun than trouble. They are big enough to
be well known and have quality people working for them and make quality
products, yet small enough to give individual attention and
support.
I'll
let you know how it goes when I install it, but it may be a few
months.
