Thanks to everyone for your advice on the coolant leak issue.

hey bob before you tear the heads down, I would drain the coolant and
drain the oil, with the oil plug in fill crank case with diesel fuel run a half
a min drain, and repeat, clean all the crap out of the engine, then drain, and
pull the heads, check your head gasket you will see signs there

no matter what you will need to pull the head, if its a blown gasket it should be noticeable, if not I'd recommend having the head magnafluxed.
