I also have a 350 front marker bezel (1969) in front of me, and it looks
like the 454 would fit right in. 69 front marker bezels are hard to come by
though. The 454 is about 3-3/8" x 5/8".

I want to see if I can use them to modify the side marker badge to custom build

That's correct. In 68/68, The non-SS cars have different engine badges
than the SS cars. The non-SS have the engine size badge integrated with
the front side marker light bezal.

You can always get a set of 454 badges from a early 70s Corvette. No SS or
other script, just the 454 numbers. I had a 74 Vette, 454, and the badge
just stuck on the hood with adhesiv
