Sounds like your mechanic likes the band-aid approach. What is "retorquing"
the heads supposed to do? Does it mean that he checked the torque or that he
loosened all the bolts and retightened them? Unfortunately neither of these
would fix a blown head gasket anyway, and putting in an additive is no
