Your right..the guys that have carriers must think
they are made of gold. Found a guy at the swap meet that had a 10 bolt
open carrier and wanted $300 for it. That is just stupid. Anyway,
thank you for your opinion and I am seeing that I might just have to pinch some
pennies and go f

Summit or JEGS or your local dealer can get you a posi center section. Its been a long while since I bought mine, but I think cost would be less than $400. And installation would be another 175-250 depending on your local costs.

by all the dead end phone calls. I have called and driven to what seems
like all the junkyards/parts places in Iowa. NO luck. Ihave all
my friends looking and asking their friends. Still no luck. I found
one 12 bolt but the guy wanted

I looked long and hard for a second hand 12 bolt. I thought it would be
easy to find with all the junk yards in Houston,
TX., but….After many calls and dead ends…I finally found one. I
paid $500 for the unit. Got it home and the guts were terrible! I ended up
