Hi Katie,
Its a stew of sorts that I make. I use basically fresh veggies and
meat, with some brewers yeast (in the summer for flea guarding) or
flax oil in the winter for dry skin. I generally try to prepare it as
though I am preparing baby food; not too strong, not too much spice
etc. You do
Actually,
Bleach does not contain ammonia. In fact, if mixed they form a
highly dangerous fumes. Chlorine bleach is comprised of entirely
different chemicals that ammonia is. Ammonia is comprised of
Nitrogen and hydrogen, while bleach is comprised on chlorine and
water.
you are correct that

Here is the article on GREENIES. I think it was
CNN that broke that story in February. My Sophie loved greenies but I
stopped using them after the CNN report.

I would suggest
NOT using anything with bleach…..bleach has ammonia which makes up part
of our urine… we may actually perpetuate the issues by using bleach
products…. I prefer nature’s miracle… comes highly
recommended by vet and seems to work well… JMO

greater access to fresh vegetables and meat that hasn't been
processed. I puree it when its cooled
Then you need to see a different vet! There are allergy tests
they can perform to find out exactly what he is allergic to, so you can
help him!!!

Hi Lin
Chris, in our group, had a good suggestion for a
chew. I cannot remember that specific name of it though and one of the
kinds is not good. He will post the name, I'm sure, when he reads
this. I got some of these chews and of course Sophie will not eat
them. I'm going to keep a
I wouldn't recommend not keeping something(a collar or
harness) on a dog inside the house, etc. Patricia, your set up does sound very
safe but I don't think some people's may be that safe. I don't think dog
collars should be used on chis. Their tracheas are too fragile. I
use a harness
Hi Betty
Yes, you really want to avoid using steroids if you
can. Of course, you don't want your dog itching though either. I
wouldn't want to be itchy! Years and years ago I had a Lab with a skin
condition and she was put on steroids. Ok, this was so many years ago my
