I always leave mine at their Vet's boarding. I don't know about all boarding facilities, but the people that work in the boarding play with the little ones when all the other stuff is done. The first time that I took Dolly, I couldn't figure out why she slept night and day for a couple of days.

I personally don't like kennels for Chihuahuas.  They tend to get stressed out more than the larger dogs..perhaps because of the larger dogs lol.  I won't board them.  We have a house sitter, she works for our Vet, come in and stay with them 24/7.  And truthfully, the cost is comparable and you
