problems. The Advantage II was for fleas only. This was our second encounter
with a tick after camping in a state park that was heavily wooded and lots of
deer.

I agree, those bugs are disgusting. I have a friend that had been using
Advantage and her dog was always getting ticks. Then she switched to
Advantix and hasn't had any problems. Totally the opposite to you...go
figure! Glad you found the little bugger!
