HI again
This is my frustration - I left a spot on the pee pad when she DID go - so she
knew to go on the pad that time (I don't use newspaper) - she gets onto the
pad - sniffs the area where she went (and usually she would squat and go )
-now she thinks about it a minute and then
Next time she has an accident , soak up the spot w the newspaper and put it in
the pee pad tray so the smell is in there . Clean up the spots with something
that gets rid of the smell on the carpet .

I'm going to try something higher now that you mentioned it was 3" high (the
tray) -the puppy pad tray is only about 1" - I hope she 'wants' to step up into
it and isn't just so lazy she never tries.

For my little rat terrier (same problem with Chicago weather and him unable
to go out
in a blizzard) I found that putting his papers on a tray with a defined
"lip" helped. I used one of those trays they sell at appliance stoores
that is white plastic, about 30" square, with a 3" lip all around (fo
Hi everyone...hope everyone has made it through the storm.
Prayers to all of you that have been effected...
My frustration: I got Charlotte as a baby 1 year ago next month. (she turned a
year old in Sept).I trained her on a puppy pad because of the weather
(Pittsburgh cold/snow/yuckiness) -
Once again, just my humble opinion. I give my boys a few drops of a
supplement called Dermix and sprinkle a little digestive enzyme/probiotic
over their food. I also give them about a half tsp pumpkin with their
meals.I have also gotten our boys treats from Dogpacksnacks.net. Our

I thought Chi’s also have knee-luxation problems often.
Good luck with your cute little rescued Chi. He is beautiful and probably very
sweet too.

I already have bully sticks, I will see how they go!
The size (TWO POUNDS) is what concerns me most - I have tons of "big dog"
experience just thinking I'll overlook a size/breed issue. Do chis
benefit from some special supplements? Are they prone to problems OTHER
than demtal and/or breakin
