So true! Seems that no matter how long I give Meeker before our walks,
2 blocks into it she is squatting on the sidewalk trying to go.

I have pet stairs for the couch. I ended
up getting them because my last dog (a Pomeranian) ended up slipping a disc in
her back from jumping. It didn’t take any time at all to teach Meeker to
use the stairs… just put a few treats on the stairs and redirection
everytime she jumped down
I bought a farret cage (4ft in diameter,…fairly
cheap) and put a pee pad, crate, and bed in it. I leave Meeker in there
somedays for 8 hours and she is fine. She is able to move around, go to the
bathroom yet cannot get into anything that may hurt her or destroy anything. It
has worked
