I read today that Royal Canin cat food has much more than the minimum
of added taurine; you could try getting some of the canned food, and a can every
few days I would think would be enough. My cats like the dog food, but they also

One of my chis is the same way; one thing that helped us, is instead of
telling her "no" for whatever she's doing, we took an empty peanuts can and
washed it out and put pennies in it; we just shake it when she's misbehaving
and she think's it the can and not us yelling at her.

With my puppy, yelping really high pitched and loud works. She forgets after
a few hours, but then the next time I only have to yelp once and she
remembers. She's gotten a lot better though. If she knows she's hurting you,
she should stop.
