With halloween right around the corner I think this is especially
important. So I checked it out with snopes and they have a link:

to these news releases:

Be careful
Blessings to u and your's :-)

Be very careful about your dietary intake of milk-related products,
particularly milk chocolate.
When the dog food scandal broke out over a year ago, resulting in the
deaths of thousands of dogs and cats across the U.S., I repeatedly
warned that this would turn out to be only the tip of the iceberg, as
the additives used in the dog food were actually "people food" quality
additives.
Since that time, the extent of Red China's poisoning of the west has
been exposed through numerous sources, though the news media continues
to label it "accidental" or the result of "rogue producers operating
in the outbacks of China," both of which contentions are utterly
ridiculous. China's manufacturing infrastructure is tightly
controlled by the Chinese military.
Now a new scandal has broken out, in which Chinese-produced
milk-related products being sold globally have been found to contain
high levels of the kidney poison, melamine.
The FDA has recently stated that they had found no melamine in U.S.
milk-based products like candy bars, ice creams, etc. However, some
of the largest manufacturers of these products in the world are
conducting urgent recalls of their milk-based products in other
countries. This includes well-known companies like Mars and Nestles.
My advice: Curb your sweet tooth for awhile and forego candy bars and
other milk-related products, particularly those produced en masse in
China. U.S. produced milk and milk-related products are apparently
fine. But as you can see from the below news snippets, companies like
Mars Candies and Nestles have a lot of their milk-related products
manufactured for them in China and shipped around the world. So read
your food labels, and if it is unclear where a milk-related product
was manufactured, such as a milk chocolate candy bar, or yogurt, or
powdered milk substitutes for coffee, or whatever, you might want to
wait until you can find one clearly manufactured in the U.S. before
buying.
This is a situation where just a little bit of label-reading can save
you from kidney stones, kidney damage, ending up on a dialysis
machine, or worse.
Melamine found in chocolate bars in South Korea
Chocolate products from the _Nestle_ and _Mars_ companies are being
removed urgently from retail stores in South Korea. RIA "Novosti"
reports that melamine has been found in "Snickers" chocolate bars and
"M&M's" candies manufactured by the Mars Company in China. Melamine
has been found also in Kit-Kat chocolate products, which are
manufactured by Nestle, according to an announcement of the South
Korean food quality control service. The agency reports that they are
urgently recalling melamine-containing products.
