Could be environmental allergies or dry skin.
Desi is 8 lbs and gets 1/4 of the 25mg Benadryl twice a day.
I also give him a Lipiderm every day.
A good oatmeal shampoo bath can also help.

Well the dawn will kill what fleas are on the dog but it won't keep new ones

Thanks Peggy. That makes sense. That explains why she could be itching from old
flea bites. The itching is getting less often now. Maybe just give it some
time. I haven't sprayed her with Vets Best Flea and Tick either for a number of
days since she's on the Zodiac.

My sister swears by the Frontline Spray, but I tried it and it didn't
seem to work as good as the stuff in the tube. I don't remember how much
it said to spray.it's been about 5 years ago that I tried it.
