Arlene, he is quite smart. I now keep another litter box in the den, which
is his free space, and he uses it every time he needs to go. I will say that
sometimes a few poops might drop outside the box, when he backs up too far.

newspaper and lined the box, which I put in the corral/fenced area
Is there a way to litter box train a chi? I have cats and it would be
easier for me if I could litter train my chi Tater Tot. He would still
go out for walks but in case I don't see him needing to go out then he
wouldn't mess on the carpet. Got any suggestions?

I have had my chichuahua for just about two months. He is trained
very well on the pads, but i am thinking of switching over to a litter
box. I have heard great things of these. If anyone has any feedback
or training tips on how to ged him to use the box that would be so
helpful!!!

Gosh! I have never thought of a dog using the litter box. That would
be convenient. When I had dwarf rabbits( one at a time) I house
trained them so they went outside in a litter box. But it was a large
cage that had a mesh bottom with cedar chips underneath. All of them
would have total use of
hello!! i thought i better mention that if you litter train them,
please do not use the scented litter, if they eat any of it, it could
harm them.i have a male & a female (both white with dark brown
spots, both about 3 lbs), they both use the trays, my male still sort
of squats...lolha
