I think it's essential for Chrome-based web apps to have the option to
minimize to
tray. For example: I split off Gmail as it's own web app. I'd like to keep

Please reopen the issue for another consideration.
Obviously, in some point you will support this kind of behavior, which can
lead to a lot of
minimal unobtrusive behavior.

You can install windows extensions like RBTray that'll do this.
