New issue 15911 by niibasta: Request sent when choose tooltip value from tooltip list on textfield. http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=15911 Chrome Version : 3.0.192.0~svn20090702r19814-0ubuntu1~ucd1~jaunty OS + version : Ubuntu 9.04 CPU architecture (32-bit / 64-bit): 32-bit window manager : GDM URLs (if applicable) : http://www.livejournal.com Behavior in Firefox 3.x (if applicable): When I'm entering user name in login form at any site, the tooltip with previously entered values appears. I'm choosing applicable string form the list, then press "Enter" and chosen string pasted in the textfield. What steps will reproduce the problem? 1. Open html page with login/password fields (f.e. http://www.livejournal.com) 2. enter different values in "username" field on the right corner to create list of tooltips. 3. then enter some of the previously entered values and choose in from dropdown list and press "enter" What is the expected result? Chosen value will be puted in the textfield and no request will be sent. What happens instead? When I'm pressing "Enter", the request is sent and I'm not able to fill, f.e. "password" field or any other field, which is mandatory to fill to to login on the site. -- You received this message because you are listed in the owner or CC fields of this issue, or because you starred this issue.
