I have tried repeating the steps above, and no bookmarks are imported at
all. I went
further and deleted my Chrome folder in Application

I should add that nothing happens if I choose safari. Seems that the
import
functionality is not yet implemented?

We see that on Windows we grab all of the bookmarks from the menu and bar.
