If the memory is reclaimed, it's not truly a leak, but funky GC behaviour.

I'm still getting this problem with 4.0.223. In fact I can reach 1Gb of
memory in
about a minute. Navigating away from the page, immediately restores memory

Here is something new. On EeePC 901 (Intel Atom 1.6 GHz, 1GB RAM) in
about:memory the
process with growing memory reports only virtual memory:
