Yes, I had to prepend http:// to it to get the DNS error, otherwise it
searches.
Browsing .local sites works fine using Firefox, Epiphany, Links, and Mi

If you're seeing "DNS error" then the browser is trying to navigate, not

It is not possible to load .local URLs in 3.0.193.0 (from the ubuntu daily
ppa).
I don't see any infobar, just this:
DNS error - cannot find server

Its not working as intended, just writing foo.local and entering works fine
in
Firefox/Safari/IE but not Chrome.

Infobar works fine but it should be able to visit *.local domains without
the need
for the infobar.
