New issue 27691 by aoca...@chromium.org: Error dialog is not displayed when loading an extension with error http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=27691 Chrome Version : 4.0.246.0 (Official Build 31860) OS + version : Any linux CPU architecture (32-bit / 64-bit): window manager : URLs (if applicable) : Behavior in Firefox 3.x (if applicable): Behavior in Chrome for Windows (optional): What steps will reproduce the problem? 1. Load an extension with some manifest error (i.e. provided example) 2. 3. What is the expected result? Chrome should display an "extension error" dialog (as in windows) What happens instead? No error dialog. I can only see the error in the console Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screenshot and backtrace if possible.
