Have a similar but perhaps not identical bug, in 0.4.154.29.
The dropdown boxes appear but the text does not, but Chrome does not crash.

I'm having the same issue with dropdown lists on every page. Firefox,
Opera, and IE
are unaffected. The list drops down, shows a blank box for a few seconds,
draws the
items

Happens to me in 0.4.154.25 Chrome crashes when I click while list is blank.

Crash confirmed here. Clicking blind does put the correct item in the box,
but then
Chrome crashes. 0.4.154.25

Have had the same issue in dev builds. But now it's also in the latest Beta
build.
