I think it should be like this:
Less than a minute - X seconds left.
less than an hour - X minutes and X seconds left.

The present behavior is quite good because it would be hard to understand
how long
something takes if you counted in thousands of seconds. P

The way it works now is different (which makes sense to me)
Less than a minute gets "X seconds left"
Less than 1 hour gets "X minutes left"
