Mine is different, for all the pictures, where it is supposed to be

I did delete the thumbnail file to fix the issue, and since I'm not sure
what could
cause the described behaviour, I'm unable to attempt to reproduce.

Deleted thumbnail file, and everything seems to be updating fine so far

Same issue here, most of my thumbnails on the new tab page don't update:
(including
BBC News, Laptopvideo2go, Digg, La Gazzetta dello Sport).
