New issue 6045 by jfrobisher: Clear browsing data stuck in endless loop http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=6045 Chrome Version : 1.0.154.36 URLs (if applicable) : Other browsers tested: Add OK or FAIL after other browsers where you have tested this issue: Safari 3: Firefox 3: IE 7: What steps will reproduce the problem? 1. Go to a site that has a form to submit and uses cookies 2. Submit the form using any information 3. Click on the wrench and go to Clear browsing data 4. Leave Clear browsing history, Clear download history, Empty the cache, and Delete cookies checked, and period set to Last day. 5. Click the Clear browsing data button 6. It should work fine 7. Go back to the page the form you submitted was on 8. Repeat steps 2-5, for me it will get stuck clearing the cache on step 5 every 3rd or 4th cycle I do this. What is the expected result? What happens instead? Please provide any additional information below.
