I expected this.
The change is that
-if the text and the shadow are both opaque (no alpha transparency) and
-the shadow is not blurred
->then we let GDI

Yeah actually, this did appear to regress us in an unexpected way.
Attaching a before (expected) and after (actual). The letters are clearly
no longer
anti
