Received
from author Barbara Honegger:
"As you probably know, C-SPAN videotaped a
CRITICAL AND HISTORIC panel of 9/11 experts -- Jim Fetzer, Bob Bowman, Stephen
Jones, and Webster Tarpley, June 25 at the Alex Jones conference on "9/11 and
the Neo-Con Agenda" in L.A. C-SPAN's information line has been so flooded with
calls asking when the panel will be aired that the main operator now refers
callers who ask anything about it to a special recording that, in turn, says to
check the 'TV Schedules' on the main C-SPAN web page (click on the smallblack
box in the upper right hand corner) to find out when it will air. This is, of
course, a run around. For whatever reason, today I was unable to open JUST that
very 'TV Schedules' button on the main C-SPAN ... it came up 'This Page cannot
be displayed'. I thus called back to the main operator and told her I couldn't
open the 'TV Schedules' button the recorded message just for Alex Jones
conference callers refers you to, and she then told me that the decision is with
C-SPAN's Programming Diretor not just when to air the Alex Jones conference
panel tape, BUT WHETHER to air it. IT IS CRITICAL -- HISTORICALLY CRITICAL --
THAT C-SPAN AIR THIS PANEL,
And IT'S UP TO US to make this happen. It's
VITAL that we ALL e-mail the Programming Director, diplomatically encouraging
him or her to make the decision TO air, AND to add the date and time that it
will be aired to the new special recording callers to the main number asking
about it are referred to. I checked the main C-SPAN web page and could not find
a direct e-mail for the Programming Director, and the operator won't give his or
her name (!). The best I could come up with is to e-mail their [EMAIL PROTECTED]org and begin the
subject line with "Please FW to Programming Director."
As of the C-SPAN
e-mailed program update for the rest of today, July 5, and tomorrow, Thursday
July 6, the Alex Jones conference panel is not yet on the broadcast schedule.
But We ALL have to be VIGILANT and check CONSTANTLY for it, as they
update/change their airing schedule, according to the main C-SPAN operator,
'sometimes hourly', and if they air it at all it will probably be with little
notice on the web site and in the wee hours of the morning. It's critical, if
it's aired, that we all watch AND TAPE IT. As SOON as anyone sees ANYthing on
when it will be aired, IMMEDIATELY
POST.
