"Mark Crispin Miller, professor of media studies at New York University and author of the book 'Fooled Again, How the Right Stole the 2004 Elections' will be participating in the discussion of the roots of today¹s torture programs and their origins in the CIA¹s mind control experimentation in the 1950¹s and 60¹s, including the use of LSD to break down the individual"
I want to read that. I expect to hear something about the similarities between TV and LSD, and between what the wrong people learned about conceptual science and how to make even better propaganda. Elections can be stolen in different ways, or by a swarm of groups acting in different parallel ways. Fraud? Yes, 2000 and 2004, but fraud only accounts for around 2% I would guess. It takes more to put it within reach of fraud. 2008 was put above the reach of fraud. Conceptual scientist George Lakoff writes in his books and has said on TV that the right won with Reagan up through Bush by framing issues in the correct reference to family that appealed to their targeted audience, and that would always involve a strict father image for trusting and identifying with, a patriarchal figure. There would always be a plethora of household financial metaphors. Kerry and Gore lost, Lakoff says, because they talked about issues as if debating for points or arguing in court, but failed to frame their issues in terms of family. The Democrats have historically identified with a nurturing model rather than a strict authoritarian father model of family. Barack Obama and Hilary Clinton worked together before Obama emerged as the winner. They combined to work up a centrist image like Bill Clinton used, but more deeply a centrist image in terms of a different vision of family, that nurturing versus authoritarian model that more closely expresses not only the traditional Democrat power base but all the crossover vote from Republicans who do not think that Bush's wmd lying and war mongering fits their idea of a strict, moral, trustworthy(business model there as well as fam) fuhrer figure. Some of the same crossover types went independent for Ron Paul all the way until they made a racist choice for McCain or actually Palin. Played again. Clinton and Obama had gone to a Bilderberger conference and are warmongers too. Hardly a diff. Lakoff talks about unconscious thought a lot. We might hear something about trauma, beta waves, LSD, and such from Miller. Another source I would lump in is Cornel West. It helps to realize that hired-archicalism in general, and media in specific when media is owned by Five Weapons Companies, is Sophistry and then whistleblowers and internet analysts and independent book writers are Socrates, and this has all been done before by the Greeks. Sophocles, Socrates, oligarchy and their empire and propaganda and corruption versus Socrates and real people struggling, always struggling, never all the way lost or saved or in utopia. I think they would all agree that voting is neither beginning or end. McChesney and Chomsky fit in too. -Bob --- In cia-drugs@yahoogroups.com, Kris Millegan <roads...@...> wrote: > > Breaking Down Personhood, the Pre-9/11 Roots of Torture > ( home » blogs » leoalphamale's blog » breaking down... ) > Entries in this section are created by individual users who register with > this site and are largely unmoderated.
