This is another load of absolute rubbish from Henry Makow. He and many other right-wingers variously name as the secret evildoers victimizing humanity each of the following: o the Jews o the Freemasons o the Illuminati o the Communists o the Tavistock Institute o the Vatican o the Feminists o the Homosexuals o the Multiculturalists o the Cabalists There is one group they never mention as being the evil rulers of the world: the ultra-wealthy businessmen who actually _do_ control most governments, economies, and media in the world. Does anyone doubt that with their money they control both U.S. political parties, and that those parties control the government, and the government controls the country? Come on, people, think! Use your minds and look at the overwhelming evidence. Do the "Illuminati" roam the houses of Congress casting spells on the senators and representatives? No! But the lobbyists handing out money from wealthy businessmen DO! As long as everyone can be kept chasing the (probably now nonexistent) "Illuminati" and the other groups that Makow, Eastman, and other right-wingers keep jabbering about, the ultra-wealthy ruling class that really controls the economy, government, and media will remain unchallenged. It's like the Ku Klux Klan's mission to make poor white people blame all their problems on poor black people, so they didn't realize they were actually being totally victimized by wealthy white businessmen.
