After creating a storage pool I use
# zfs set sharesmb=on spool01
After, I create the file systems which inherit the smbshare.
# zfs create -o casesensitivity=mixed -o nbmand=on spool01/temp
Then I set the ACLs on parent folders and the mounted share via:
ostics
If nothing there helps, cifs-gendiag output and a network capture
would be useful.
