Sorry for asking here, but I am really a bit confused. I am wanting to buy a computer primarily for cinelerra, with a limited budget. I am wondering if Dual core is more importaint than 64 bit. Just curious as to what people think about the performance of cinelerra. Which would be faster?

(a kind of general answer): I think there can be problems resulting in non-perfect sampling rates... I once recorded something with two soundcards to have 4-channel input, but the audio tracks were about half a second out-of-sync after some minutes of recording. Don't know if this happens with cin
