Best choice would be to install all libs needed by Cinelerra Stpe by step: Get the SVN of Cinelerra Run autogen and configure in ./hvirtual See what is missing in the output Use synaptic to install the missing libs, dont forget the dev packages (!!!) type: Make distclean and configure again Do

I plan on editing this video so that it can be displayed via DVD. Should I just add the Deinterlace effect to the whole video ? This depends very much on where you expect to show/see the video. Deinterlace effect does remove the comb effect, but it also effectivly reduces the quality. If
